How Namoz handles — or rather, doesn't handle — your data.

Last updated: 2026-08-12

Namoz ("the app") is built to assist in worship and religious observance — without collecting, storing, or selling any personal information about you.

What we don't do

  • We don't collect, log, or store your settings, or any personal information.
  • We don't require an account, sign-in, or profile of any kind.
  • We don't use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
  • We don't sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
  • Nothing you do on the app is saved anywhere — not on your device beyond the current session, and not on any server we control.

What the app actually does with your data

The geolocation is only for finding Qibla direction. This happens only while you're actively using the app; nothing is sent in the background. Calendar access is restricted to writing only. The app cannot read anything from your calendar.

Children's privacy

Namoz does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that.
