GeiDeLei Flayer is a free media player for your own media files — FLAC, MP3, MP4, MOV and more — provided with no subscriptions, ads, or in-app purchases. There are no accounts and no streaming service involved: your media stays yours, on your device. The app doesn't collect personal information.
Tap + on the main screen to open the Files app, then pick individual songs or whole folders — iCloud Drive, On My iPhone, USB drives, and connected servers all work. Folders are searched for music automatically, including any subfolders.
Imported songs are copied into Flayer, so they keep playing even if the originals are moved or the drive is disconnected. Songs you've already imported are skipped, so it's safe to import the same folder again after adding new music to it.
Supported formats: FLAC, MP3, AAC/M4A (including Apple Lossless), WAV, and AIFF. Titles, artists, albums, track numbers, and cover art are read from each file's tags.
Copy-protected files, such as songs downloaded from streaming services, can't be imported.
Browse your media by Songs, Albums, Artists, or Playlists, and use the search field to find anything quickly. Albums are sorted by disc and track number.
Create a playlist from the Playlists tab, then tap Add Songs — or use Add to Playlist… from any song's ⋯ menu. Inside a playlist, tap Edit to reorder or remove songs. Removing a song from a playlist never deletes it from your library.
Play and tapping a song always play in the listed order; Shuffle plays in random order. On the Now Playing screen you can also turn shuffle and repeat (all or one song) on or off, open the Queue to reorder what's coming up, and use Play Next or Add to Queue from any song's menu.
The 1× button changes the playback speed from 0.5× to 2× while keeping the pitch the same. Flayer remembers your speed, your queue, and where you left off, so it picks up right where you stopped.
Use the AirPlay button to play on speakers, headphones, or your TV. Playback pauses automatically if headphones are unplugged.
Tap the moon on the main screen or on Now Playing. Set hours and minutes with the wheels and tap Start, or choose End of Current Song. The music fades out gently before stopping.
While the timer runs you can pause, resume, or cancel it, and the countdown appears in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, with buttons to add 15 minutes or cancel.
Connect your iPhone to a CarPlay-equipped car and open Flayer on the car's screen to browse your playlists, albums, artists, and songs. If Flayer doesn't appear, check Settings → General → CarPlay → your car → Customize on your iPhone.
Add the Now Playing widget to your Home Screen in three sizes — the larger sizes add previous/next, the sleep timer, and one-tap buttons for your playlists. Lock Screen widgets are available too.
In Control Center, tap + → Add a Control and search for "GeiDeLei" to add Play / Pause, Shuffle All, or Sleep Timer buttons. The same actions are available in the Shortcuts app and with Siri.
If a widget shows "Not Playing" after installing, open Flayer once and play a song.
The interface is available in English, Russian, Tajik, Turkish, Arabic, French, German, and Spanish. Flayer follows your iPhone's language automatically; to use a different language just for Flayer, tap Language in Flayer's Settings, which opens the right place in iOS Settings.
Flayer's Settings show how many songs you have and how much space they use. Remove All Media deletes the imported copies from your device; your original files in the Files app are never touched, and your playlists are kept.
To save iCloud space, imported music is not included in iCloud backups. After restoring or switching to a new iPhone, import your music again from the Files app.
Flayer can only see the files and folders you pick when importing. It never browses your device on its own.
Used only to show the sleep timer countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. You can turn this off in Settings → Apps → GeiDeLei Flayer.
Flayer doesn't ask for your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or notifications.
