How Flayer handles — or rather, doesn't handle — your data.
GeiDeLei Flayer ("the app") is a media player for your own audio files. It is built to play your music — without collecting, storing, or selling any personal information about you.
When you import music, the app can only see the files and folders you explicitly pick in the Files app. The selected files are copied into the app's private storage on your device so they keep playing even if the originals are moved. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Your original files are never changed or deleted.
Song details read from your files (title, artist, album, cover art), your playlists, your play queue, and your preferences (such as playback speed or sleep timer duration) are stored only on your device. Imported music files are excluded from iCloud backups to save space; the library details may be included in your own device backup, which is handled by Apple under your Apple Account — not by us.
To show what's playing in widgets, Control Center, the Lock Screen, the Dynamic Island, and CarPlay, the app shares the current song's title, artist, cover art, and playback state with the system on your device. Actions you run from widgets, Control Center, Shortcuts, or Siri are carried out locally by the app. None of this leaves your device other than to your own connected car or AirPlay speaker.
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendar, or notifications. Live Activities (the sleep timer countdown) can be turned off at any time in iOS Settings.
GeiDeLei Flayer does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that.
